This has been sick week

This has been sick week at the Snave household. First, L got an ear infection. Then, S has been complaining about her stomach. Paul and I have allergies, colds or sinusitis – take your pick.

Today is the last lesson for my CGI Programming class. After I finish it, I plan to enroll in an online Dreamweaver class. I am comfortable with it, but I want to expand that knowledge and check out the classes by this company to see if they’re any good since they will be adding more in the near future that I would want to take. There is just so much to learn about web design and it is difficult since I don’t have a focus. Right now, I am trying to get a broad understanding of it. The Web Server Development class will provide me with the backend knowledge I need. We had to learn about the differences between URL, URI, and URN. That was a tough one only because URN is still a developing field in Universal Resources.

I admit it. I am hooked on Survivor. No matter how quickly someone gets voted off the island, I am most impressed with all 16 survivors. I could not imagine roughing it like that. My obsession with cleaniness would make it too difficult! Plus, I was getting sick to my stomach watching them eat live beetle larvae. Blech! Oh I know, I know… when you’re starving… but I just avoid those situations rather than face them. Then, I would never been able to wear my hearing aids. I really don’t want to discover what happens to wet hearing aids. Well, I sort of learned that once when I was on a business trip. I put my hearing aids on the dresser where I had my bucket of ice. Well, the bucket of ice had a leak in it and got my hearing aids wet. One did not work and I had to send it for repair. But, would it be different if they were in my ears and rain hit? Electrocution city, right? I guess my life has been pretty dull. Most daring thing I’ve done, I guess, would be climbing down a mountain in Colorado, but it was not that steep.
