It’s been a very hectic

It’s been a very hectic couple of weeks since our Six Flags adventures. I helped the teachers get the classrooms ready for school prior to the first day of school. S started school on August 3 and we’ve been on the go ever since. Paul has been volunteering as the ice cream man in the school cafeteria. I’ve been involved with setting up the PTA website and working in the library. Plus, we have been participating in several school related activities. My library orientation was on the same day of the Eddie Coker concert. The kids really enjoyed him. I recommend him.

We celebrated SK’s, my neice, 3rd birthday at ASI Gymnastics. L had a blast playing on the trampolines. Paul and I played with some of the equipment feeling like kids again. It was like learning how to ride a bicycle again when I was jumping on the trampoline. Of course, I was overly cautious since my one broken bone came from the trampoline when I was 6 years old. I was sitting on the edge of the trampoline like all the other kids when I lost my balance and my wrist slipped between the springs and broke. Then, in 5th grade, I was chicken when I would not slide down the thingamajing that you hold onto while sliding down. Well, I made up for that at the party and slid down the one they had there. OK, OK, it was a little small, but I did it, nonetheless.
