The big news today… it’s time for the Survivor finale! I am excited and depressed about it. I don’t know if I can wait until January to get my Survivor II fix. Dallas columnist, Maryln Scwartz, wrote an excellent article about how to get your Survivor fix right here in Dallas. It is ridiculously funny. The Dallas School Board sometimes seems almost like a soap opera and not real life.

S finished her first indoor soccer season last week. The Blue Thunder had a good season. Now, she is getting ready to play outdoor soccer again with her all girls’ team, the Blue Sisters. Paul is co-coaching again. It amazes me… I was much more involved with athletics than he was… and here he is doing all the coaching. He did have to attend a coach’s clinic last week. He learned a lot of coaching stuff that should help him help the team.

Egads! S got her first homework assignment this week. Spelling. Oh joy! Actually, I am a good speller though I never entered the spelling bee. I was amazed and impressed with the words they have to learn… “strap,” “panic,” “candy,” “sandwich” to name a few.

Lane? No, I didn’t forget about L. Right now, he has taken on the role of Destructo Boy. ‘Nuff said. Alright, he can be the sweetest boy when he wants to be. He will pick up things and put them away, he will give you a kiss and a hug, and he will find trash on the floor and give it to me.

I am burned out from all the online classes I’ve taken. They’ve all been terrific… except one! Just overloaded. Right now, I am just taking Javascript. I just finished Java and Web Server Development. What’s next? I don’t know. I do need to finish my Dreamweaver class that has no deadline or instructor involvement. I do start another class in October at NYU called Web Server Management. All these class have helped me revamp the a Web site.

Now, I need to figure out what vacation I want to take. Thinking about a group trip to Israel, taking S skiing, and / or taking S to Washington, DC.
