Warning: Boring vacation notes coming…
Ahhhhh. Just returned from vacation. Left at 4:00 AM (groan) Monday, March 5. Returned on Saturday, March 10. Went on a cruise that departed from Miami with stops in Grand Cayman and Cancun / Calica, Mexico. We were on the Imagination. It was a nice ship with a lot of friendly staffers.
In Grand Cayman, we took the highlights tour beginning with the Tortuga Cake Factory Outlet. We checked out a Turtle Farm.
We went to Hell and made it back. I am sure the people on the island have heard this joke tooooo many times to count. But there is REALLLLLLY a place called Hell. We took photos of us standing under the Hell Post Office. I’ve been too lazy to scan the pictures, but will get to it… someday.

We finished off our Grand Cayman visit in Georgetown where we shopped and met Lord Wedgwood as in Wedgwood China. He was a very pleasant for a person who has traveled so many places and met so many people.
Back on the boat, we headed to Mexico where we arrived the next morning. We had to ride the bus for 45 minutes to get to the Mayan Ruins of Tulum. It was a site to see especially with the beautiful aqua-colored waters. After a tiring tour there in the hot sun, we headed to Xel-Ha to cool off and snorkled with the fishes and stingrays.
It’s good to be back home. Managed to get through most of my e-mails. Time to go to the store and stock up and try to get back into writing.
