Final Four not as interesting

Final Four not as interesting this year. The small schools that made it to the Sweet 16 have done it a few times now… that it is no upset. The women, on the other hand, is exciting. We have Cal-Poly playing UNDakota Sioux. Xavier knocked out powerhouse Tennessee. UConn made it – no surprise. Texas Tech is out, but Louzy-Tech is in.

Imagine my surprise when I received Content-Spotlight newsletter in e-mail and my name was in it. I guess whenever users create a new profile, they get a little spotlight. This is one of the few places I’ve added to my mailing lists and bookmarks. Oy, they grow too big.

Went to a Digital Eve Dallas lunch on Thursday. It was cool. Met Mary and discussed PR stuff. In talking to her, my secret dream to write a book took another step forward. We were talking and she encouraged me to write a pocket reference. So, I did some research and wrote letters to two publishers. How realistic is this? I won’t know until I try, right? Of course, thinking of a topic is the challenge. Kind of a bad thing for one’s self-esteem because it makes you feel like you’re really not an expert in anything enough to write a book.

Wendy wrote back. Just a little note. She moved to Silicon Valley from New York. She still has her cats, the infamous Grovery and Milo. She frequently talked about their escapades in the Yoyo newsletters. Cool that she wrote back.
