Watched an oldie, but goodie

Watched an oldie, but goodie — City Lights with Charlie Chaplin. Just good old fashion slapstick. Amazing you can make a whole movie without saying one word.

Also, in the middle of watching John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara in The Quiet Man. Good one, so far. I enjoyed O’Hara in The Parent Trap and Miracle on 34th Street. She has matured gracefully based on her last movie as of today, Cab to Canada.

I know all this talk about movies. In the summer, I get in the mood to watch old ones especially with TV in rerun season. Yes, I know May is sweeps month… but it won’t last long. Survivor: Congratulations to Tina! I was delighted she won, but never thought it’d be her. Yeah, Colby either wanted to make sure Keith didn’t win or he couldn’t put on a game face anymore. Way to make Texas look good, Colby.

Did a bunch of articles for ibizhome. Working to expand to magazines and maybe a book. Biding by my time… after all, I do have this little job on the side that isn’t writing.
