When I suggested an article on site search tools, little did I know I was in for it. It turned out to be one of the most challenging articles I’ve written to date. After I finished it, I was glad I did it and I hope it helps someone avoid the frustration it takes to find the right tool for a Web site. Marc emailed me and mentioned another search technology: "if you program with ColdFusion, you already have Verity built in. It’s just as powerful as most of the solutions listed in the article."
