birthday twins

I went to donate blood yesterday and when I went to sign in, I saw the person before me had the exact same birthday as me including the year. It was a "Whoa!" kind of a moment.

seeing meryl in other places

People with names like Michael, Jack, Sarah, and Rebecca are accustomed to seeing their names everywhere since they’re so common. They’re great names for people. I, on the other hand, still marvel when I see or meet other Meryls. It doesn’t happen often, but I did meet another Meryl last summer. For the heck of it, I went to see what I could find on the Net.

Shirts made with "Meryl" microfibre. Interesting, I suppose they’re made by Meryl.

Hints for a Playstation game called Metal Gear Solid mention a character named Meryl who is exercising in her cell. Well, the exercising makes her sound like a strong gal, but why is she in jail? The list indicates she can do sit up in her underwear and one arm push ups in her underwear. She’s definitely not modeled after me!

I never dreamed someone would name a dog… Meryl. A Doberman, eh?
