Been busy playing with Joelonsoftware’s newest baby, CityDesk. It’s a desktop-based content management system to help its users manage a frequently updated Web site.
Also, working to put the finishing touches on the articles relating to the Web Builder conference.
On Fridays, I get fewer emails and see fewer activity around the Web world as people finish up the work week and prepare for the fun or frenzy of the weekend. But there are three gems that make most of my Fridays:
ALA Issue Today’s ALA issue has an article from Zeldman who urges people to think about designing for all browsers. The second article discusses the distinction between style and design. Sadly, Nick stepped down as one of the ALA producers. However, it was for respectable reasons (you know, a life away from the monitor, digital web, a job, etc.) and I admire him for that especially as one who fought to go part-time in the day job so I can have a more balanced life. We Americans "live to work rather than work to live" and I don’t know how the developers, testers, and administrators in my company and everywhere else manage to work all hours and be productive.
Pshop Tennis Oz Dean of forcefeed:swede versus Jonas Strandberg-Ringh of cubadust in today’s tennis action.
Friday Five Ah-ha, for once, I remembered on Friday to check out today’s Friday Five.

I suppose. I rarely go to a movie these days when I can watch them at home with captions.
That’s what’s here from Netflix.
