LGF has pointed out a quick read article on how to make your readers keep their eyeballs HERE. <Hey, you! Stick with me! Pleeeeeassssseee!> Six tips from the article:

  1. KISS
  2. Make sure search engine works - is mine working, guys?
  3. Important information - center stage!
  4. Remember the text
  5. Get rid of lists - this list is OK, they’re talking LONG lists
  6. Include your logo - I’m trying! I have not come up with a cool one

That logo one got me. According to the article, testers spent 25% of their time on the site viewing the logo. OK, if they spent one minute on a site, then yeah I can see ‘em looking at the logo for 15 seconds. Any longer than that, I’m convinced corporate America has put something in their logos to drug us into staring at it until it’s ingrained into our brains so we buy everything with that logo on it!

OK, what’s up with that? Lately, I’ve noticed an increasing number of searches at Google for Da||as Cwbys own3r’s plast|c surg3ry. Had to write it like that to prevent more of them coming this way since I don’t have anything to give them on this topic. Hate to disappoint ‘em. Once, I mentioned his name… lo and behold, Googled. Yes, he did it. No, I don’t know who is his doctor. No, I don’t think it was a good play.
