Tuesday, January 8th, 2002 at 1:31 PM |Just learned at Chris Pirillo that Wendy’s Dave Thomas has died. I commented over there that Dave Thomas had one of the nicest and friendliest faces on television commercials. I always got a kick out of Wendy’s commercials when he starred. You felt like it was your grandfather or kindly older uncle sharing a story. Does that sound like too much to say about a commercial for hamburgers and chicken?
The other commercial loss is Avery Schrieber, the thick mustached crunching guy in the Doritos commercials.
