Opera 5.0 Macs Quickie

Shirley has posted a quick read (the way I like it) overview of Opera’s final 5.0 version for the Macs on her Brainstorms and Raves. Opera is quietly gaining popularity in the browser wars as it is in 3rd place.

Once over a year ago, I tried Opera for Windows and it had some nice features. Not enough to make me use it regularly, but I hear it’s really something now. May give it a lookie-loo.

    Worth noting is that it is the old MacOS that has a final Opera Browser. The Mac OS X version is still in beta. IMHO, Opera is a great Windows browser, but the Mac version has a LONG way to go be on a par with it. Fortunately, MSIE for OS X is, again, IMHO, the best browser available ANYWHERE, for ANY platform, so it all kinda balances out, I suppose.
