Wednesday, January 16th, 2002 at 9:47 AM |This is the kind of news that makes me sit there at my desk with my mouth wide open in shock. In Brainstorms and Raves, Shirley reports that the official Olympic 2002 Web site is repeating the same mistakes made in the Sydney Olympics 2000 site. Remember IBM forgot to put in the alt tags and it cost over a whopping million to fix? Looks like the Web designers for the 2002 site were in space when the Sydney fiasco happened. The alt tags are better… but they overlooked JavaScript, plug-ins, PDF, AND frames. <Throws hands up in the air in frustration>
