If I were a true journalist I think I would want to interview a few &#039;bloggers prior to writing such an article. Basically what he did was exactly what he accuses the bulk of &#039;bloggers of doing, just writing off the cuff.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;To cover the blogging phenomenon in 500 words or less, you might want to actually VISIT some blogs--which are easily found through many other places than a search engine that launches half a dozen pop-up ads when you go there. He could have started with Weblogs.com and worked from there.&lt;/p&gt;
