Recently, I have been reviewing and judging many Web sites and put them to the test by turning off JavaScript in one browser. The results of non-JavaScript surfing were amazing. It really dims the experience to have them turned off and the Web site doesn’t look as nearly as strong as with it on.
In studying visitor stats, a majority of you do have JavaScript turned on. Again, *know* your audience. If you’re just a fun site or a personal site, then maybe it’s not such a big concern for you unless your JavaScript stats show otherwise.
JavaScript and Accessibility – WebReference clearly expands on this issue.
