I’d love to get a photo of this sucker’s face when the package arrives. Look at the bid list… this wasn’t the only sucker.

I don’t know if the guy is really a sucker. Some of these classic things are really collectable. I know its just a box, but a complete box and packagings can be be worth more than some old systems. Its mostly a supply and demand thing. I guess i hang on on to many retro computing usenet groups
Several people pay hundreds of dollars for these old boxes. Check your attics 
Hm. I should keep my Sony VAIO laptop box then, huh?
But I already threw out the styrofoam. Bummer. That’ll lower the price, I’m sure.
Wow. People paying $500 for boxes…
We’re Mac-people. Don’t expect us to be rational.
I remember reading something similar about someone who paid hundreds of dollars for the box to a Nintendo GameCube. Hmm…is there a trend at work here?
