I don’t know if the guy is really a sucker. Some of these classic things are really collectable. I know its just a box, but a complete box and packagings can be be worth more than some old systems. Its mostly a supply and demand thing. I guess i hang on on to many retro computing usenet groups

I remember reading something similar about someone who paid hundreds of dollars for the box to a Nintendo GameCube. Hmm…is there a trend at work here?
