Tornados Close DFW Airport

I was supposed to get home at 7:30 PM, but because of tornados and stormy weather, I didn’t get to the airport until close to midnight last night. We had to land in Waco to refuel because we slowed down and circled to avoid the Dallas / Fort Worth storms. We finally left Waco around 10ish. My watch battery died the minute I arrived in DC, so I am not sure of time on anything on this trip.

Anyway, I’m home safe and tired. Catching up on tons of email since the wireless connection sucked in DC. Laundry, grocery shopping, and more laundry. Typical catch up blahs.

Special thanks to Christine for making the pre-written entries live while I was in DC. Post-dating them didn’t ensure they posted at the right time. I know MT has a way of doing it, but I was so short on time and couldn’t research prior to departure.

    Kathy missed flying in that mess by a day and was very much relieved. Glad to hear you made it home safe ‘n’ sound!
