Christopher Schmitt has a cool and useful bookmarklet called Highlight Word Bookmarklet that looks up a definition of a word on a page. It took me less than one minute to grab the bookmarklet and to figure out how to make it work. No more having to type www.dictionary.com to get the definition of a word.

That’s awesome, Meryl – thanks for sharing that! I’m definitely one of those dictionary.com checkers. ;)

Cool. But tell me–did I really just download and use someone else’s program?

    Unsafe computing!

Does anyone know the actual meaning of the word “forty” in biblical times? (as in forty days and forty nights..). I was also told that the Movie Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves didnt literally mean FORTY, but many many thieves. My question is did Forty actually mean many days and many nights, in the bible? Any help would be appreciated!!!!
    Thanks.
