Wednesday, June 26th, 2002 at 8:07 PM |Get notified of an emergency via email, cell phone, fax, or pager from emergencye.com. Enter your state and county information and select from a list of what you’d like to receive. The choices:
- Severe weather information
- Outage info from electric, gas, water, etc.
- Locating emergency supplies
- Organ donation
- Daily weather forecasts
- Routine blood drives
- Other services
The site also gives you the option to block non emergency message content during hours of your choosing.
Today, I received my first emergency thunderstorm email followed later by a canceled warning message. All’s good here. Nice service.
