It’s sad. Hearing aids cost a small fortune. I’m fortunate that my family always made sure that I had a way to hear. But what of those who can’t afford it? To make it worse, hearing aids have to be replaced every 5-8 years, and 8 is pushing it.
When replacing a part on one of the hearing aids, it broke. The repair cost was high, so I opted to look into new hearing aids – digital. Last time, I had tried digital, but they sounded terrible… back to analog. This time, the digitals are working nicely in the form of Widex Senso P37.
It was strange at first. The sounds were softer and I needed more power… power that I’ve relied on all these years. After wearing them for five hours, I’m getting the hang of it. It’s cool to finally get my ears to join the digital revolution.
