Ian Lloyd of Accessify (which, by the way, has new forums) forwarded this warning that not only are we losing our jobs to countries with cheap labor, but also to Primate Programming(tm) Inc. This company looks like a hot company with an impressive staff list.
After a rough few weeks, it was good to get a laugh out of this.
Don’t you hate it when you find some great tutorials and you tell yourself that you will do them and learn a few new tricks? So what do you do? Bookmark it and come back to it never. That’s my story, but it doesn’t keep me from finding new resources and saving them in my Incredible Hulk-sized bookmarks file. Two Photoshop resources to add to yours in hopes of eventually getting around to them: Russell Brown and Computer Darkroom. Have fun hoping you try them within a few years.
Speaking of overloaded bookmarks and favorites… here’s the next overloaded thing… newsfeed readers. I keep adding RSSified and XMLized pages to my feedreader and how often do I check them? I check them when I open the app to add more newsfeeds. The biggest challenge, for me anyway, in managing newsfeeds is trying to get them organized. When I find a new feed, I look at the categories or folders I have created… and think there is no place for it, which means creating ANOTHER folder. I hate having a long list of folders. Help! I am drowning!
This is still an active blog that aims to bring you news techie, webby, and writey. I think I have a valid excuse for my sporadic posting as I was In the Hospital Again. Recovery is proving to be far slower than I expected. I thought I’d be running around within a week after the surgery… instead, I’m walking around holding onto things to avoid losing my balance.
Read the previous entry, add a comment. If every single person who has an email address also has a blog, will blogs still be worth it? I know… I know… they’re supposed to be for the person who is writing it, but you’ve got to admit that most people want the blog to be read and adored.
