Warning Labels

America’s justice system has a bad reputation as Americans sue each other over the slightest and stupidest things like spilling McDonald’s hot coffee in their lap. Well, gee, if you’re driving a car, don’t keep it or any other drink in your lap. What did you expect? Cold coffee? All right, this was before iced coffee became a hit.

Because of these lawsuits, manufacturers are working harder to protect themselves when developing warning labels. Sometimes they go too far as Things People Said: Warning Labels demonstrates. Some labels are the victim of a employee who got the lucky job of label writer and obviously, writing is not his regular job. [Link DMXZone]

I’d favor that 99.8% of warning labels be eliminated. Those who should read them do not; those who should not , do, and its is annoying and irratating..
They do nothing for the hot coffee problem - only intelligent people can solve this.
    Apparently, there is a shortage…
