I have installed SP2 on 4 computers and have had only one minor problem with Norton Anti-Virus 2003 (SP2 isn't able to monitor whether the AV software is up-to-date). No problem with SP2 from my view.

Meryl - I hear the percentage of computers having trouble with SP-2 is greater than 10 percent -- 40 or 50 percent I'd say.
My Dell Dimension is teribly screwed up. I spent all last week end talking 15 hours a day with tecnicians in India (Dell, Symantec, Earthlink, and Microsoft out-sourcing outfits). I finally gave up and bought a new HP. And I'm spending this week-end trying to get up to speed on it. Next week I'll get the hard drive out of my dell, extract my files and install them on my HP. Then I'll reformat the Dell hard drive and give the whole set-up away to charity or sell it or something. I'm 75 years old and don't take kindly to all this crap. Microsoft is in line for some huge litigation over SP-2 and I'll bet they'll be paying millions or more for their inept execution of this one!
