My wife made me pre-order the book many months ago, but I'm just as much of a Potter fan as she is, if truth be told. It is hard to imagine a series of books that have done more to advance the cause of reading. I love that adults and children alike can derive so much pleasure from them, and it is interesting to see how Rowling's writing technique improves with each novel, much like a child's reading ability does.
