Only 100 pages left in Harry 6. Thank goodness, I made an effort to read as much as I could this weekend considering a kid blurted out critical information to Paul. Glad I wasn’t there. Poor Paul. The last book he probably read was Harry 5. Nonetheless, he’s enjoying the read. Why didn’t I finish the 100 pages? Well, when I got up to head to my room, I saw it was already past my bedtime! I get up early for work and need my rest or my colleagues will make me regret it.
Continuing last week’s entry on Book Reading Lists, check your local library’s Web site as many of them have reading lists including my own city’s library Web site (look under “Good Reading”) and Fort Worth (where I was born and bred). A Michigan librarian has a list of good teen reads accompanied with commentary. LYRE review has lists for students from 6th through 12th grades.
