When we go to Web sites, we might not give much thought to colors unless they’re outrageous or you’re a designer who notices such things as part of the job. Experts say that when a site’s colors aren’t noticeable; its team has done its job in integrating the colors with the site’s design.

The approach to color has changed in ten years with more monitors having the capability to display more colors. Getting monitors with high resolution is no longer a luxury — it’s a standard. You may have heard of the Web-safe palette, a palette of 216 colors that look the same on both Mac and PC monitors. Some say the Web safe palette no longer applies. Or does it?
