BlogCritics celebrates is third birthday on August 12 and it has served over ten million readers. The site is exactly what the name says… Blogs + Critics = Blogcritics. All the folks who post are bloggers with their own blogs and they are critics on movies, TV, books, culture, news, and more.
The front page has five sections: Music, Books, Video, Culture, and Politics. Each section shows the latest post for the section and then scroll down to see the hot 5 topics for each receiving the most comments. Click on any of the section names to get the full pages of entries for that section.
Posts don’t cover just reviews. There are a gamut of articles with analysis, comparisons, best and worst, and general commentary. The content is fresh every day… every hour or close to it.
On the far right are hot discussions across the board, not limited to the current section you’re viewing. That’s all there is to getting around the site and its contents. The BlogCritics are listed on the left side of the home page.
The site tracks the top posters and commenters. I’ve long given up trying to make that list. These folks have super powers. If you missed an update or want to know how a book did, use the search box at the top of the site.
