Friday, March 3rd, 2006 at 1:35 PM |Been so busy that I never sent out a February issue of the meryl.net newsletter. Clients come first. But experience dictates people rarely miss any issue because they get enough emails already. If anything, it hurts the publisher because they’re out of the receivers’ minds for that month. But it’s an informal newsletter and doesn’t lead to new business.
Almost everyone I know is going out of town today or in the next couple of days as Spring Break has arrived in Plano. Yeah, I know. Early. We do everything early. But not me. Staying put, working, and sending a couple of children to Grandma’s. Shout out to my best bud on her baby’s first birthday! Now for some fun and useful sites.
Keep away from my cursor isn’t an easy game. You have to dodge the little guy who is clever about attacking your cursor.
Listable aims to give you more accurate results by combining tagging and voting. Very cool site. You just have to see it.
Answer, “What’s for dinner?” by looking up the ingredients you have on hand and entering them into Big Oven’s Leftover Wizard where you can enter one to three ingredients you have on hand and get suggestions.
How come I never come across Wacky Warning Labels? I’ve been keeping my eyes open.
Incredible Honda ad is an oldie, but it’s worth sharing again because it’s impressive. The people behind this must be the most patient people as it took over 600 takes to make it all work! Notice the camera has no cuts… all one smooth fluid movement.

Aha! Another new useful resource. They seem to be springing up all over the place lately.
Those ‘bargain’ style labels also seem to be popping up all over the shop.
Listable looks quite likable, so I’ll be adding it to my humongous list of future websites that I haven’t yet bookmarked yet.

I meant to spell to the word ‘likable’ as likeable in my previous post, but somehow likable seems to be more appropriate for this recipe cooking site
Btw, I chose Sweet Corn, Tomato and Cheese, and got to choose between two recipes. I can’t remember the first one, but I think it was beef something or other.
Anyway, I fancied the Garden Harvest Chili.
