Wednesday, March 8th, 2006 at 11:02 AM |I’ve been dealing with the @#$(* computer for so long that I need a break. I’ll post an update as soon as I am up to it. Thanks to all for sharing thoughts, suggestions, and experiences. One thing that’s coming out of this — a netdrive. This is a standalone harddrive that any computer can access. It’ll be where I save all my data.
Paul sent me this and gave me a much needed laugh. I hope it does the same for you.

For what it’s worth, that’s one of the most unintentionally successful Photoshop hoaxes out there. The Urban Legends Reference Pages have more info.
Still, it wouldn’t surprise me that people really did expect computers to look like that back in the ’50s!
