&lt;p&gt;Reading more of your writing, I appreciated your honesty about your deafness. I teach some blind and blind-deaf young people as part of my day job. Your posts about hearing aids helped me understand even more about the frustrations students have when using their digital hearing aids to listen to their computer screen readers.&lt;/p&gt;
