I think I finally came upon a company name. It may not matter much to you, but isn’t meryl.net kinda dull? The only reason I registered that as a company name is because it was all I had at the time. There’s one good thing about meryl.net in spite of its vanity name — it’s a short URL.
Someone submitted a site for CSS Collection and there it came to me. I immediately registered the domain, but I’m nervous about making a switch after using meryl.net for so long. I would value your feedback. Ready?
[drum roll]

What do ya think? I need to decide quickly because a magazine has generously agreed to feature my logo in its magazine for a design makeover.

I think when company name match with your website domain, that’s respected?
I agree. And I like Meryl.net and your current logo/tag line. It works. WordFuel has less personality than Meryl.net.
Well, I like WordFuel OK but it sounds a little like a kids spelling game. Or, the CB handle for a hot rod trucker.
Just found your site/s - love your stuff.

The more I thought about it… the less I liked that name. So I’ve decided against it and will stick with meryl.net. Anyone want to buy wordfuel.com?
Well, I’m a little late to throw my two cents into the decision-making process but I think you made the right choice. Meryl.net sets you up as the brand with a personal, one-to-one feeling that you wouldn’t get from the other name.
Besides, I’d have to update my bookmarked link and you know how I hate extra work.
Wordfuel. Sort of gaseous, although words and literate use of them are important with web 2.0.
Meryl.net Wordy, Geeky, Webby.

Build on your good name and established brand?
PR/Marketing Cheers.
You have already “branded” Meryl, stick with that. If you changed you would be throwing away the name recognition you have built.
Hang on to Wordfuel. You might have a use for it for another website in the future.
I like it. It short, descriptive, creative and everyone knows how to spell it.
