I have used replicator to add files that I have recently ripped from CD to my backup and I have also used it to make a redundant backup on another external hard drive "just in case". I am a bit fanatical about backups. Replicator will not backup system files in use, so it isn't good for disaster recovery, but for data files, it is the quickest and easiest solution I have ever found, and the price is right too!
