Recurring Payments on PayPal

A sponsor asked me to set up recurring payments for his account on PayPal. In the past, I wanted this feature, but didn’t find it. When the sponsor told me to set it up, I searched harder and found the answer under Subscriptions and Recurring Payments. PayPal’s recurring payment feature is more of a Web site-based feature than an e-mail feature.

It would be nice if PayPal added a checkbox for indicating recurring payments for the client you’re billing. Recurring payments is not available for personal accounts, so it isn’t free even with direct deposit.

I know businesses must pay a charge fee to take credit cards, but I believe we shouldn’t be charged a fee when receiving or sending a direct deposit — no matter the account type. Yes, PayPal needs to make money, but I am sure the credit card and other features take advantage as I don’t believe its fees are competitive.

This sucks, only way is using Paypal Pro (old Verisign) or Paypal Website Standard (but it sucks because it redirect you to Paypal website and you fill data here and then back to your website, zero professional).

    Thanks
