Tried breaking up the seal and making the M thicker and lighter for the favicon. Still looks bad in 16x16. It looks great in 32x32.

I finally got to see the new favicon when I cleared my cache. I had tried using Ctrl+F5 to refresh in FireFox, but that didn't affect the favicon. I think the new favicon is a BIG improvement. I wonder whether the tiny version of the calligraphic 'M' would stand out better if you edited the source image that you feed into HTML-Kit's Favicon from Pics to remove the excess wax, just focusing the image on the 'M' and the red disc around it?

Good find on this automatic favicon generator, by the way! In the past I had paid someone to create my favicon for me, and this automated tool does an excellent job!

I like the new logo. The seal makes you look official! And I love the red!

Take care,
Dawn
