		<description>&lt;p&gt;Pownce just doesn&#039;t do it for me either.  Partly because of the lack of really good MacOS tools like Twitterific and partly because it&#039;s just not where everyone is (sort of a chicken and egg thing).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I&#039;m not opposed to Pownce necessarily.  It&#039;s just missing something that Twitter has.  Sometimes I consider it might be the feeling that Twitter is sort of some homegrown thing that just evolved.  Of course, there&#039;s quite a few employees behind it now and, as you mentioned, their transparency has been pretty good.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Unfortunately, that doesn&#039;t help the fact that it just plain doesn&#039;t work a lot of the time.&lt;/p&gt;
