Karen, thanks for pointing out the non-ego benefits of searching for your name -- perhaps, it'll make the rest of us feel better about admitting we track our names.

I am tickled pink that I won, thank you! I was even more thrilled to see that my dear blogging friend Yvonne won! Ted, there was a time I did not google myself. I now realize how important it it to manage your online identity. I use Addictomatic to manage my company and personal identity, in addition to setting up Google Alerts for both. I have found improper uses of my company name (people using it to sell porn or put listings on Craigslist) and I have had to take action. It also keeps me in touch with what others are saying about me. Googling yourself is good advice. Now off to google....

Karen Swims last blog post..Achieve A Lot with Just A Little

I'm very happy that two of my best blogging friends have one prizes, and that Yvonne won a prize by commenting on my post! I'm afraid I'm feeling so good about this I'm not even going to go and google myself... okay, well maybe later :-)

Ain't that the truth, Karen? Both of my blogs (deaf one, too) get people who were searching for terms that I most certainly don't write about.

I imagine you have a lot of fun with your last name.

I'm always amused at the search terms that people use to find my blog. I get the biggest laugh when I see the ones who Google "Steak 'n Shake Coupons" and end up at Deaf Mom World. Ironic, eh?

Also, with a name like Putz-- that leads to some interesting searches too!
