Oh, no! I always root for them. My mom went there in her freshman year (long story why she didn't continue after that).</p> <p>Brad, I think our 2008 sums up the year for many folks. A roller coaster ride. Let's hope things settle and the economy starts domino'ing the right way to at least ensure we have an uneventful year.</p> Northwestern lost!!?? Oh, no! A close friend and a daughter moved farther away (good for them, sad for me), the economy threw me for a loop, my knee fell apart, and to top it off, my alma mater, Northwestern, lost a heartbreaker in the Alamo Bowl last night. Yet ...
