Yesterday was my husband’s birthday. I wish I could come up with some other way to say this, but it’s true though cliché. I’m lucky to have him in my life and that we grow together as we encounter new phases in our lives. We enjoy spending time together in simple ways such as our recent discovery of Gilmore Girls

My eldest daughter and I used to watch Gilmore Girls every day after school when she was a freshman in high school; gave us time to reconnect.
I think mine — the only daughter, but the oldest of three — would love it. But she’s not big on Mom’s recommendations
Yet, we both love a handful of other shows (that she discovered on her own).
